Rugby’s Mayor Chooses RATT as Mayoral Charity

 May 22, 2016

Sally BraggRugby Area Talent Trust is delighted to have been chosen as one of her two Mayoral charities by the new Mayor of Rugby, Cllr Sally Bragg.

The support of the mayor reflects the focus by RATT on supporting young talent from the borough. Cllr Bragg has taken an interest in the charity since not long after it’s inception last summer.

RATT has been chosen alongside The Oral Health Foundation to benefit from the various fundraising events and initiatives for the Mayoral charities.

Cllr Bragg said “It’s a great honour to become the Mayor of Rugby and I’m looking forward to a busy year as the borough’s first citizen.

“I’m also keen to take the opportunity to promote and support the work of my charities for the year, with both the Oral Health Foundation and Rugby Area Talent Trust being causes close to my heart. I’d be delighted to hear from residents, schools, community organisations or businesses who would like to support my fund-raising during the Mayoral year.”

David Head, Trustee at RATT, said “This is really exciting for Rugby Area Talent Trust, especially being such a small and new charity. I’m very grateful to the mayor for her support and I look forward to being able to showcase some of Rugby’s talent as part of the partnership over the year. We are very proud to have been chosen.”
